The salary is £10.50-£11.50 per hours plus competitive employee benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Principal Objectives

To maintain the safety and security of all staff, pupils and visitors through the operation of the school physical security and processes.
To be the first point of contact for all visitors to the school
To receive and record school deliveries and distribute to the intended recipient
To conform to the School's Health and Safety policy at all times and to be responsible for health and safety at work both on a personal basis and in regards to others
To complete job specific tasks in line with school Risk Assessments
Report any faulty equipment to management immediately
Ensure that all security equipment is used and stored in accordance with the School's policy
Maintain regular contact with immediate colleagues in the Security and Estates Departments, with students, parents, teaching and support staff, subcontractors and visitors to the School
Show willingness to learn and develop new techniques within the security department
Support the Security Lead with any queries/investigations which may arise
Assist with any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the School Management

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience:

Relevant experience working in security, stewarding, concierge or similar profession
Working knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of specialist equipment such as CCTV

Positive and flexible attitude to work and duties
Prepared to participate in training and other learning activities as required by the school
