This role attract an JNC benefit to the value of £3503 pa. Cash payment, paid monthly


The role We are the largest local authority social landlord in London, managing 55,000 homes lived in by 40% of Southwark's residents. We have a young, diverse and growing population. We have an unwavering commitment to ensuring the homes we manage are safe and well-maintained and that we're meeting our obligations to residents and regulatory bodies.185 of our high rise buildings fall within council management and our new Head of Building Safety will continue to develop and implement our Safety Case Regime, identifying risk and creating a golden thread of information for our high rise buildings.


You will of course bring extensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements for building services and safety within a housing environment, but your leadership qualities will set you apart.

You will inspire a committed team of building safety managers to safeguard our residents' homes, lead on resident engagement and influence and encourage behaviours across the organisation that mean risk is managed effectively.
