Disrepair Surveyor- Housing Association - About The Client**:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a national housing association who are looking to appoint a Disrepair Surveyor on a permanent basis to cover the East and South regions.

The role offers agile working and a salary of £40,000 - £47,200 perannum dependent on eligibility to regional uplift + £1,250 car allowance.


Disrepair Surveyor - Housing Association - About The Role:

  • To manage disrepair building surveying across the property portfolio
  • Carry out surveys, defects inspections relating to property disrepair or compliance with legislation and preparing specification of works
  • Work collaboratively across internal departments
  • To post inspect remedial works to ensure satisfactory completion
  • Monitor repairs for disrepair, mould and damp workflows through to completion
  • To build and maintain a good relationship with tenants

Disrepair Surveyor - Housing Association - What You Need:

  • Good communication skills and ability to write reports
  • Housing experience with sound knowledge of maintenance and repairs works
  • Full drivers license
  • Effective problemsolving skills
