Are you an experienced product executive or have you worked in Cruise Product and would like to work for a well-established company My client is a leading Tour Operator and is lookingfor a Cruise Product Executive to join their busy team.

My client is an award-winning specialist Tour Operator with an excellent reputation, organising escorted tours, river and yacht cruises to Europe and Worldwide.

Applications are invited to fill a roleas part of the River Cruise team ensuring the smooth running of our growing River Cruise programme.


JOB DESCRIPTION:


As part of the Product team this role is involved in all parts of creating one of our River or Ocean Cruises, from contracting and tour creation, to set up, maintain and follow up on customer feedback.

This is a full-time position and will suit someone whohas a very good understanding of our cruise programmes and wants to expand on this.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

To set up & maintain River Cruises, Yachts and Ocean Cruises in Traveller.

To help monitor and adjust capacities on river cruises (cabin/transport).

Assist in researching & contracting all product for the River and Ocean Cruising programmes.

Help to monitor & analyse competitors - product and pricing, and benchmark against our product.


Work on product development - to constantly review, improve & refine the tour itineraries in the most cost-effective manner and in line with customer expectations and company strategy.

Assist in ensuring accuracy in costing & pricing.

To provide regular booking updates and rooming lists to shipping companies, extension and city stay suppliers.

To assist in providing contract and health & safety questionnaires to all hotel / agent / coaching and other suppliers as required

To liaise with shipping companies, ensuring moorings and sailing schedules are fulfilling required itineraries.

To ensure accuracy of brochures and website and all promotional material.

To deliver clear and professional product training whenever required.


Liaise with the Operations Team ensuring the smooth running of tours and dealing with any issues arising, ensuring that suppliers and other effected departments are updated and any costs logged.

Work with Operations team in ensuring service standards are met by shipping companies and excursion suppliers.

To liaise with CSD and suppliers to agree compensation levels on disrupted itineraries.

To follow up on any issues arising from debriefs and feedback forms.

As part of the Cruise Product Team work on all set up, journals, pricing changes as required.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Previous experience within a product or operational role within the Travel Industry.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and numeracy is a necessity, with strong commercial awareness.

An effective communicator - with suppliers and internal customers.


A high degree of organisation, with an ability to work in a pressurised environment and prioritise a multitude of complex tasks to deadlines.

Ability to work well with and understand different cultures.

A knowledge of our River and Ocean Cruise programmes.

A can-do attitude.

A willingness to be flexible with working hours and responsibilities


PACKAGE:
Salary up to £27000
