In the heart of Tameside, we carry forward a legacy of manufacturing brilliance, and we're looking for an experienced supervisor to lead our stainless steel welding and fabrication department.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of fabricators and welders in the production of stainless steel cylinders.
Oversee the daily operations of the welding and fabrication department.
Ensure all products meet our strict quality standards and customer specifications.
Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Monitor and maintain health and safety standards within the workshop.
Provide training and support to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a supervisor in stainless steel welding and fabrication, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of welding processes and fabrication techniques specific to stainless steel.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a skilled team.
Commitment to upholding the highest health and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
Problemsolving abilities and a methodical approach to work.
