About the role
Our DS Smith site in Clay Cross is currently seeking an ambitious and motivated Customer Services Manager to support and manage the team, develop and encourage strong processes and challenge themselves daily.
Key tasks include the smooth running of the customer service function and the strategic development of this function and its people and process.
Working with the Supply Chain Manager to understand and analyse S&OP/customer demand. To provide pro-active resolutions to challenging situations.
The focus is to deliver world-class customer service in a fast paced environment to delight the customer and grow our business.
About you
- Experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in a Packaging/Manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with multiple stakeholders inside and outside DS Smith
- Focused on continuous improvement so that the team can be managed efficiently, and performance can improve consistently
- Able to make decisions in a timepressured environment and stand by your decisions
- Ability to learn and work with new business systems
