BPP have a rare administrative vacancy which would offer exposure to our senior leaders who work at the highest levels of the organisation.

The position will be challenging, and could offer someone with strong communication and organisational skills invaluable experience of working in a senior corporate environment.


You would be working closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO, on behalf of the senior executives and leadership teams, to ensure the smooth running of the executive office and its admin systems and processes.

This would include administrative support, planning and scheduling meetings and events, and would involve working across many areas of the business with colleagues at all levels.


Role Profile
In this role you would be a key coordinator of smooth operation and administration within the Senior Executives' Office.

As such, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing admin, planning, and scheduling support to selected members of the Executive Committee (ExCo), with extension, as agreed, to selected members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, administration, and setup of internal and external meetings/events.
  • Support the Executive Assistant to the CEO with a variety of admin tasks and projects.
  • Assist in the management of, and function as administrator for, BPP's corporate travel function.
  • Providing direct administrative support to the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) and senior members of the Product & Technology department (P&T).

Role Requirements

  • Ability to respond to and manage the varying adminbased needs of toplevel stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, delivered in a professional and articulate way.
  • Highly organised, with a cando attitude, a commonsense approach, and an interest in understanding how a senior corporate environment works.
  • Ability to work accurately, meeting all deadlines, and seeing tasks and projects through to completion.
  • Ability and desire to convey professionalism when dealing with, and on behalf of, the ExCo, SLT, senior management, TDR, and externals.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to create relationships across BPP with colleagues at all levels; this role involves talking to people.
  • Display behaviour appropriate to a toplevel, corporate, and downtoearth environment, and knowing when it is proper to contribute.
  • A willingness to work within the boundaries of your agreed role, and to consult/collaborate with your line manager at proper times.
  • An elevated level of diligence, thoroughly reviewing completed work, staying on top of WIP, and keeping your line manager and connected parties updated.
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality always, especially when dealing with sensitive information and any matters on behalf of the ExCo and SLT.

Key Responsibilities:

In this position you would have a wide range of responsibilities including;

  • Primary function as the assistant to the CEO's Executive Assistant, working together in a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Support with groupwide events and meetings setup.
  • Supplying highquality admin and diary support to selected members of the Executive Committee.
  • Assistance with, and key point of contact for, BPP's corporate travel.
  • Maintaining Teams' sites and calendars for the ExCo and SLT.
  • Administration of BPP's student travel process, following current policy.
  • Completing documentation relating to new supplier set up, consulting with Legal and Due Diligence on this and other contract matters.
  • When required, assist with research and initial talks with new suppliers, e.g., travel, insurance, catering, venues, and corporate events.
