  • SENIOR LOCAL RESPONSE OFFICER (ANIMAL WELFARE)
  • Local Area Services, Planning and Environment
  • 37 hours per week full time
  • Band 6 £32,486 + Essential Car User Allowance
  • An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a Senior Local Response Officer for Animal Welfare to join the Local Area Services Team.
  • The Local Area Service Team is responsible for carrying out a wide range of inspection and engagement activities across the borough. The Senior Local Response Officer will be responsible for the management and delivery of our animal welfare, animal activity licensing and stray dog collection within the Borough. They work closely with other teams across the council, members, agencies and the wider community.
  • Full and ongoing training and support will be given to ensure confidence and ability to cover the full requirements of the role. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
