Description

Textile manufacturing company are seeking an Application Support Analyst

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain database systems and ensure data integrity
Responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets submitted through a services management system
Provide standardised documentation in support of changes (ALM best practices)
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to innovation initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Proven experience using the following technical stack areas
HTML / XSLT,.NET Core, C#, SQLServer, SQL and Javascript
Working knowledge of ITIL best practices for incident, problem and change service management
Ability to execute systems analysis to a high standard
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with a passion for innovation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preference will be shown to those who have experience with VAX-RBD and VB6, development in contemporary tech stacks (AWS Cloud general skills) or who have a familiarity with source control / DevOps practices
