Immediate start for long term contract at a secondary school in Southwark working with a child with SEMH in Year - In Class, 1:1 and mentoring work

Join a large team of SEN Teaching Assistants run by a brilliant SENCO
Previous experience working with SEMH students required
Previous experience in PRU, alternative provision or similar environment beneficial but not essential

For this Teaching Assistant role we are looking for a confident practitioner who is not fazed by challenging behaviour and can hit the ground running this term and make an impact to the child's learning.

You will be delivering 1:1 direct interventions and support to a SEMH student with complex emotional difficulties to enable his access to the curriculum and to support him with his behaviour.
