Support Engineer Fully Remote - Staines-upon-Thames, United Kingdom - Parkside Office Professional
Description
This is an entry level role and would suit someone who has excellent communication skills and looking to get into an IT support role/help-desk, this role is fully remote so would suit someone who is self sufficient and able to work on their own
Job purpose - Contribute to the increased profitability of and development of the customer/client base by delivering a range of pre and post-sales support services and providing excellent internal support.
- Provide a high standard of pre and post sales support of software services to customers and colleagues using effective oral and written communication
- Manage the resolution of customer support cases relating to the intended software portfolio
- Producing technical mixed media collateral to assist in the provision of support
- Manage the liaison with and escalation to internal and external resources when required to resolve a customer support case
- Liaising with suppliers and product vendors in order to advise customers and colleagues on design solutions
- Providing advice on deployment, installation, configuration of the software portfolio
- Supporting in company projects
- Conduct web demonstrations of products
- Assist sales team and customers with advice on correct products and training courses
