Overview:

The Marketing Apprentice will be creative, IT literate and passionate about communications and marketing.


You will assist with the management of company social media accounts, content creation, recruitment marketing, copywriting, website management, internal and external marketing campaigns.


The role will also provide a range of administrative support services which may include telephone support, organising diaries, managing correspondence and ensuring that internal platforms are kept up to date.


Salary:

£12,000 - £15,000 per annum.


Responsibilities (not exhaustive):


  • Creating engaging content/campaigns for our digital channels including social media platforms, website and other relevant platforms.
  • Collating information for, and developing internal and external company newsletters.
  • Create a range of content including social media (LinkedIn, Twitter) and indeed posts, job descriptions, case studies, and responses to company reviews.
  • Responding to inbound enquiries through LinkedIn.
  • Assisting the sales team with the coordination of content for corporate social responsibility.
  • Supporting the Learning and Development team across various platforms including creating and editing engaging video content that can be used across a variety of channels.
  • Engaging in marketing activities such as Search Engine Optimisation.
  • Using Google Analytics to measure campaign performance.
  • Supporting the Sales team and senior management in creating and delivering effective communications activity and marketing across all channels.
  • Building good relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Undertaking other duties that reasonably fall within the scope of the role.

What we are looking for:


Essential skills:


  • Good operational knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
  • Using digital and social media platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Experience of producing and checking information to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent literacy skills

Desirable skills:


  • Experience of Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro and After Effects
  • Experience of content development tools such as Canva
  • Interest or experience in photography, videography and video editing

Entry requirements:


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
