Job Description:


We are looking for a graduate continuous improvement coordinator based in Worcester to join our Bosch Production System (BPS) Team Our BPS team is responsible for all operational and support process improvements from the supplier of material through to the manufacturing of the final product.

All areas in our business need to operate in a lean and waste free environment to ensure our market placement and competitiveness.

BPS supports plant management by implementing lean tools through coaching and training to help achieve our business strategy and to support our continuous improvement journey.

This two-year programme starting in the summer of 2023 will give you exposure and experience across the whole business whilst ensuring you are challenged and have continuous personal and career growth


The purpose of this role:

  • Work with all levels within manufacturing and logistics to support the BPS methodology
  • Management of production data (Nexeed)
  • Lead projects in manufacturing in line with the business strategy
  • Analyse and collate data in manufacturing to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify areas of waste and inefficiency across manufacturing and logistics and lead projects to remove/improve.
  • Coordinate and moderate workshop activities across the business
  • Train and coach lean manufacturing tools to key areas (training programme to be defined)
  • Coach and guide project teams to achieve targets with BPS methodology
  • Support management with strategic topics to steer the business to achieve business targets
  • Develop and support the plant with digitalisation topics

Qualifications:


Education:


  • Degree or equivalent in business management/studies or relevant industry experience

Key requirements:


  • Ability to challenge and propose new ideas
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Communicate confidently with people at all levels
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages Interest in digitalisation
  • Capability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability and interest to travel domestically and internationally
  • Selfmotivated and driven

Beneficial but not essential:


  • Knowledge or understanding of lean management principles and continuous improvement

Expected Start Date:
Summer 2023


Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon - Thurs and Fri with a 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak
