With its head office based in Doncaster, and operations in Cardiff and Tilbury Docks, McGregor Logistics operates a large and diverse fleet enabling us to provide a reliable and consistent service to our customers.

We now have a vacancy for a
Transport Co-ordinator to join our friendly Pallet Network team based at our brand-new site in Armthorpe Doncaster.

The depot operates as a Warehouse and Pallet Network depot, completing collections and deliveries around the Yorkshire region.

Role Responsibilities

Handover from night team
Supervise all elements of the morning operation, including vehicle loading, planning adjustments, driver briefing.
Scanning all outbound freight to the correct vehicles/locations
Monitor delivery run progress
Strive for optimum driver performance & system adherence
Briefing and Debriefing Drivers
Log vehicle defects & plan in scheduled maintenance
Assist with customer service enquiries
Complete daily and weekly KPI reports
Fuel management and reporting
Conduct random vehicle inspections

Person Requirements
Experience within the transport industry would be beneficial for this role.

Experience of working in a Pallet Network would be ideal
Effective communication skills with a professional approach
Excellent administration skills
Attention to detail
Organised, able to prioritise and multitask
IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages
Team player, selfmotivated, flexible and confident
May involve some lone working in the mornings

Hours

Days of work Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturdays required on a rota
Hours 06:00 till 16:00 Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 12:00 Saturday (1 in 4 Saturdays)
Flexibility required for later finishes
