Role & Responsibilities as a Consulting Manager:

  • Act as a thought leader
  • creating high impact thought leadership, market impact and propositions.
  • Partner with the broader business to create and execute strategic account plans in one or more areas of Public Sector such as Central Government, Defence/Intelligence, NHS etc etc.
  • Lead a discrete portfolio within our Public Sector Consulting business with responsibility for annual revenue, profitability, employee, and client impact.

Desirable skills as a Consulting Manager within the Public Sector:

  • A well-established client and partnership network
  • Previous experience of helping to build a consulting business balancing client delivery with business development and practice management. Experience in shaping significant commercial proposals in matrix organisations.
  • Experience in areas such as Digital Strategy, Digital Transformation, RPA/IPA, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Target Operating Models etc highly desirable
  • Held annual revenue targets of min £1.5million pa
  • Comfortable in all aspects of programme design and leadership including governance design, onboarding of and management of resources, large team leadership, performance management, continuous improvement and handover/close down.
  • Sustained commercial performance, delivering exceptional results in a range of market conditions.
  • Deep understanding and applied knowledge of a range of transformation techniques including proposition design, CX / service design. operating model and process improvement

Professional Experience or Qualifications were seeking for our next Consulting Manager within the Public Sector:

  • A line manager, coach, and mentor to members of the team
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strategically minded and able to create a consultative and solutionminded sales environment
  • A forward & innovative thinker constantly focused on shaping the organization to meet and anticipate both near and longterm business issues
  • A team player and proven ability to work in a distributed, multicultural environment
  • Effectively and proactively managed client's expectations, built deep client partnerships, and developed excellent communication and executive presence to connect at all levels in the organization
