AM2PM Recruitment is looking for Forklift Drivers to work for our client who is located in Airdrie.

Our client is one of the largest vegetable growers/supply and processing/packaging companies in the UK, supplying over 500,000 tonnes of root vegetables every year.

The company is responsible for the packaging of graded, washed and bagged vegetables for some of the largest supermarkets in the UK as well as marketing its own brands

Intake

Duties Include:

General forklift yard duties (3-tonne truck)-load/unload curtain sider lorries and when further experienced you will also do line servicing duties with the truck and use a handheld scanner to line load potato stock into production packing lines.

Shifts:

Mid shift:
Monday to Thursday 12pm-8.30pm and every 3rd Saturday -8am start. -job and finish

Backshift:

Sunday 9am-5pm, Mon-Thurs 5pm-1am and every 3rd Saturday -8am start*Line service production lines with a forklift (1.4 tonne truck) provide equipment to lines and stock move finished goods to the Despatch fridge area with the use of a handheld scanner.

Backshift:
Sunday 9am-5pm, Mon-Thurs 5pm-1am and every 3rd Saturday (job and finish)

Dayshift:
Monday to Friday 08.30pm-16.30pm and every 3rd Saturday

All onthejob training will be provided along with scanner operation*A valid forklift counterbalance license is required from an approved training provider (R.T.I.T.B. /I.T.S.S.A.R./MENTOR etc )

The client may consider an experienced forklift driver with an out-of-date licence.

The position will be starting between Monday 5th and Monday 12th December.

Temp to perm 12 weeks

12-hour shifts

Pay Rates:

Dayshift/Mid shift £11.42

Backshift £ p shift allowance per hour
