Initially temporary for 1 year, Part-time, 2 days per week,13 hours per week, term time only.


Saltersgate Infant School would like to appoint a dedicated, flexible, skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work throughout school, both covering PPA and also within classes with the teacher.

This position is for an immediate start.


We need a HLTA who:

  • Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record
  • Is able to plan, prepare and assess own lessons
  • Has a particular interest and skill in delivering the creative arts
  • Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour
  • Able to engage well with pupils
  • Able to work under your own initiative
  • Smartly presented with excellent time management skills
  • Works effectively as part of a skilled team
  • Has appropriate qualifications and experience
The post will include whole class teaching across EYFS and KS1.
