It is an exciting opportunity for WDH as we are looking for two people to join our Senior Management team within Compliance and wider Assets Service Area:

Compliance Manager - As WDH's Compliance Manager you will be responsible for Property Compliance across WDH stock. Working with the Compliance team to provide assurance to the management and the board.


Business, Building and Safety Manager - As WDH's Business, Building, and Safety Manager you will be responsible for, the Management of all property related H&S including CDM, Maintaining our certifications in ISO14001, 45001, CHAS and ROSPA. You will also be part of the team delivering on Building safety across our high-rise buildings.


What you'll be doing:


Managing a team of technical competent Compliance / H&S Officers delivering property compliance, building safety and construction health and safety across the business.

You will help to ensure the business is compliant with all applicable legislation, develop policy and processes and reporting to give assurance to the executive management team and board.


What we're looking for:

To join our Compliance department, we're looking for people with:

  • experience in managing property compliance or building safety within a social housing setting;
- excellent management skills, history of developing teams to deliver high levels of assurance to the business;
- good knowledge of Regulations, Legislation and H&S practices;
- excellent reporting and auditing skills;
- experience of managing a highly qualified team; and
- experience of working in the housing sector.
