Finance Business Partner -Broadcasting Media - London

Altum Consulting is excited to be working exclusively with a market-leading broadcasting business to secure a commercially focused FBP, acting as the finance lead across corporate, business transformation and operations, providing commercial analysis toconfidently challenge and support their investment requests and programme reviews.

Working closely with the Transformation Operations Director, you'll develop and maintain a strong business understanding across both Strategy and wider finance objectives.

The role is London based however the business offers to work 2-3 days remotely.

Key Responsibilities,

Providing commercial finance support and advice to the Programme Directors and Transformation Operations Director's Office (TODO).
Monitor financial and nonfinancial outcomes delivered by the core strategic transformation programmes.
Support in the running of the monthly Group Investment Committee (GIC) who is responsible for approving Groupwide investment (including transformation investment).
Review, challenge and support the preparation of business cases to be approved by the GIC. Ensuring benefits and commitments are measurable, identifiable and trackable.
Work with Transformation Operations to hold Programme Directors to account for delivery of programmes and associated benefits to agreed scope, ontime and within budget
Provide groupwide visibility of the approved investment portfolio, ensuring all impacted stakeholders are aware of any dependencies and incremental impacts.
Develop deep and trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders through regular catch ups to build integrity and reputation internally.
Monitor and provide insight into macroeconomic, industry and employment trends, considering potential short, medium and long term impacts on ability to deliver within budgets.

Required Experience,

Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with commercial finance / business partnering experience in a large, fast paced, dynamic organisation.
Extensive proven experience of business case development and management.
Experience of investment governance at corporate level, as well as investment appraisals.
Exposure to programme/project/technology finance, coupled with a strong commercial partnering mind set focused on delivering forward looking strategic priorities.
Excellent stakeholder management, conflict management and the ability to navigate relationships at an Executive Leadership Team level.
