Description
Duties

  • Manage maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Manage and prioritise maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential risks with Health and Safety regulations
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budgets, ensuring costeffective practices
Experience

  • Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role
  • Highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic. Ability to plan and manage own work load efficiently.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, including, Word, Excel and Microsoft
  • Experience in Compliance and Student accommodation regulations. [ Smoke detection, Fire regulations, Emergency lighting, Heating etc]
  • Project skills with the ability to plan and execute maintenance projects as requested.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and knowledge of carrying out household maintenance. [ Carpentry, basic plumbing, decorating, tiling and identifying electrical issues, leaks and outside trade works]
  • Experience supervising out side trades and closing off repairs, correctly assigning invoices to accounts department or relevant team members


This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a high level of reactive service to the tenants and ensuring a fully functional site.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
