Description
Duties- Manage maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage and prioritise maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential risks with Health and Safety regulations
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory
- Develop and manage the maintenance budgets, ensuring costeffective practices
- Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role
- Highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic. Ability to plan and manage own work load efficiently.
- Knowledge of computer systems, including, Word, Excel and Microsoft
- Experience in Compliance and Student accommodation regulations. [ Smoke detection, Fire regulations, Emergency lighting, Heating etc]
- Project skills with the ability to plan and execute maintenance projects as requested.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and knowledge of carrying out household maintenance. [ Carpentry, basic plumbing, decorating, tiling and identifying electrical issues, leaks and outside trade works]
- Experience supervising out side trades and closing off repairs, correctly assigning invoices to accounts department or relevant team members
