Hybrid / Oxford
Full time / Permanent
£70,000 - £75,000 plus bonus (up to 20%), private medical insurance and other great benefits
The Company
My client are a global leader in motion capture technology, developing high performance and innovative software hardware products for the entertainment, engineering and medical industries.
The Role
As the Head of Product you will be the key point of contact between engineering and commercial teams reporting directly to the CEO.
The Product team are responsible for constantly updating market needs, defining features and functions of products with the objective of maximising sales revenues, market share, and profit margins whilst delivering market leading products.
The team are alsoresponsible for aligning user needs with company strategies and translating these business objectives into achievable engineering requirements for new opportunities and product range growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage, motivate, and develop the global Product Team including Technical Authors.
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach by questioning and amending processes and procedures where necessary.
- Give direction and leadership towards the achievement of product goals and objectives.
- Liaise with different departments to ensure the Product department is properly supporting the needs of the operating business.
- Regularly communicate and review the progress of the Product team with the Clevel team.
- Create and review product visions including financial analyses for new market and product opportunities.
- Propose new product visions to the Clevel team.
- Provide oversight between all the market business cases, to achieve a unified product priority list that best aligns with company strategy and maximized return on investment.
- Create, maintain, and present product roadmaps.
- Works closely with the Program Team to optimise the use of available resource to help achieve on time delivery of the product roadmap.
Knowledge and Experience required
- Proven experience as a Head of Product or Senior Product Manager with the technology field.
- Experience of B2B in an SME environment.
- Must have leadership experience, ideally in an international environment and across multiple sites.
- Can build strong relationships with both engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
- A recognised Product Management certification is desirable but not essential.
