Administrative Assistant

Great Opportunity with Local Preston Company

Approx 25 hours per week to suit you - £22K-£24K ( full or part days)

As our Administrative Assistant, you will enjoy a varied and engaging office-based position that will put your skills to the test while providing you with countless opportunities for growth and development.

Best of all you can choose your own work hours to fit with you. Full days, or part days.


Responsibilities:


  • Review and update supplier/customer contracts
  • Prepare import paperwork, liaise with clearing agent
  • Coordinate communication with warehouse, suppliers, and customers
  • Process and crossreference import documentation
  • Handle sales ledger/credit control ( full training given)
  • Manage purchase ledger
  • Provide weekly sales/purchases updates to management
  • Assist with additional administrative duties as needed

Requirements:


  • VERY strong numeracy skills and high attention to detail
  • Any experience with accounts would be beneficial but training given
  • Previous administration experience preferred
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Familiarity with databases and Excel
