Operating at our state-of-the-art facility based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites forms part of Teledyne Aerospace and Defense Electronics UK.

We focus on the manufacture and supply of carbon fibre components to the aerospace industry.-
Position Summary and Responsibilities:As the successful applicant you will be supporting the Cleanroom ensuring the correct lay-up of pre-impregnated glass/carbon into mould tools.


Working in a team environment you will work on a range of products and you will need to read and understand lay-up drawings and use your laminating skills to carry out the required workload to the lay-up specification.

You will also need to utilise your skills to query any error or change that you may observe on any particular job.

Reporting to the Composites Manufacturing Supervisor your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support the manufacture of Composite Aerospace parts within the Cleanroom, alonside skilled and experienced operators.
  • Read and Understand Lay up specification
  • Develop layup methodolgies to enable greater flexibity across all Cleanroom products.
  • Identify laminating defects.
  • Work towards completion of all jobs within the specified time scale's.
  • Record time spent on jobs.
  • Comply to all Health & Safety measures within the Cleanroom and the wider organisation.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organisation and maintenance of own work area and wider Cleanroom area.

Qualifications:


  • Experience working within Composites Laminating across different products and industries
  • Experienced gained within Aerospace, Marine, Automotive or other quality driven industry is preferable.
