The Role:

Global Transaction Services is the business of operating client bank accounts and making and receiving client payments.

The finance team's role is primarily to provide business partnering support with face to face contact with the business heads and theirteams being key.

This role is maternity cover for the lead GTS business partner and is an excellent opportunity to learn about this business and contribute to its continuing success by providing top quality business partnering and control oversight.

The routineelements to this role are concentrated in a few days around each period end.

A large part of the role will be ad hoc including responding as necessary to issues and pursing continuing improvements in process and outputs.

The team takes great pride in quickly producing high quality and visually appealing management information then explaining this to a wide group of stakeholders.

As part of the team this role will include opportunity to continue to improve what we do andto bring new ideas and insights.

Responsibilities:

Support all aspects of EMEA GTS Finance's role as part of a small team including:

production and explanation of core EMEA GTS management reporting

- responsibility for month end close processes including responding to queries from the business, Finance in the US, Corporate controllers, GCIB finance and local BANA and of BofAE legal entity controllers as required
- business partner supporting the businesses needs in EMEA
- forecasting including ensuring timely, complete and accurate forecast loads to eLedger
- support for ad hoc and self-identified business insight and reporting analyses

Requirements:

Qualified accountant
Good at explaining financial facts and issues simply and succinctly to nonfinance audiences
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Good at manipulating significant data volumes and generating new insights

Driven to always trying to make things quicker/ better/ simpler/ easier to understand
