Digital Solution Architect (CMS / Integration)

Hybrid in Wokingham - minimum 2 days per week onsite

3 months initially with a year's work forecasted

£700 per day

In short:

Solution Architect with CMS integration experience required to work closely with engineers in producing technical designs for a number of high profile digital projects.

This is a hands on role - right in the thick of engineering
- however, we're not expecting you to produce any code - it's all around integration design.

In full:

Our technology team is seeking an innovative, technically talented Digital Solutions Architect within our Architecture team who can shape the architecture and design solutions for major Business to Business (B2B) and Business toConsumer (B2C) initiatives.

You will be responsible for owning and delivering complex solutions in the Digital Experience domain; particularly our Digital Experience Platform, content management, data integration, search, SSO/Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solution and CustomerPortals

This will involve:

working with our internal Solutions Engineering Team, vendors and 3rd party delivery partners; developing architecture and technical design elements and getting approval from the design authority; working with key stakeholders.

Ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with product and project teams.

You will be:

Part of our architecture ream reporting to a Lead Architect for Digital Experience Transformation. You will be working across number of projects and report to the project manager/Scrum master in dotted lines for project tasks/deliverables
Accountable for defining holistic architecture solutions to maintain and improve Digital while minimising impact on delivery and innovation
Accountable for producing design patterns for Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, user authentication and authorisation for various digital experience uses cases
Responsible for supporting Digital teams to deliver secure products for our customers
Ensuring solutions conform to Architecture Principles
Providing security related architectural guidance for postincident reviews, supporting rootcause analysis, and calling out lessons learned
Building on best practices within the business, the digital industry and beyond to develop and implement innovative approaches for Digital Product(s)
Working with the Product Owners, Technical Product Owners, and Delivery managers along with Engineers, Test Engineers, and Customer Experience Designers to participate on solution architecture for Digital, including validating detailed requirements (whereand only when needed) and process / experience mapping to facilitate effective development solutions
Responsible for the delivery of Digital architecture artefacts and input into non digital artefacts
Assuring design delivers a supportable solution to Service Delivery
Working with the Product owners and Engineering Managers to lead the technical definition of the product roadmap

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field/experience
Previous delivery experience in implementing digital experience platforms using common UI libraries (such as design systems), content management, personalisation and IAM are necessary.
Prior experience of working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the above platforms and integrating them with customer facing content management systems (e.g. Drupal) and customer engagement platforms (e.g. Salesforce) would be advantageous.
Technology design experience which includes Performance, Security, Availability, as well as Operations, Monitoring and Support
