  • £31,106 per annum (pro rata), £ £16.

4YP (For Children and Young People) are seeking to expand our team of
Children and Young People's Counsellors to assist in delivering a high-quality counselling service to young people in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and in 12 schools throughout Suffolk.

You will work directly with young individuals to enhance their physical, emotional, and social health and wellbeing.


The main objective will be to deliver short-term counselling sessions to young people aged 7-25 years old and make referrals to other services as appropriate.


Proven experience of working with younger people is desired, as well as an ability to communicate and work effectively and safely with children and young people, especially those most at risk.

A nationally recognised counselling qualification, equivalent to
Diploma Level 5 or higher, is required.
