Mostell Logistics are looking to recruit a Transport Admin Assistant.


The overall purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Transport Admin Supervisor and Transport Management Team to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Transport Department.


Key Result Areas:

Customer Service

  • Booking in deliveries phone and internet
  • Liaising with customers reference deliveries
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Booking Outside Transport
Driver Liaison

  • Dealing with drivers queries
Proof of Deliveries

  • Checking Drivers Folders for Discrepancies
  • Investigating Discrepancies
  • Making sure all drivers folders and delivery notes are returned
  • Making sure a fridge print out is attached to truck sheet
  • Updating Truck Sheet Reconciliation
  • Access customer websites and retail link to print goods received notes.
  • Check all pods are signed and correct when returned along with outside transport invoices.
General Admin

  • Scanning and renaming Customer POD's
  • Distribute Paperwork from despatch.
  • Photocopying
Outside Transport

  • Check POD has been returned
  • Ensure that the company has been charged for the correct amount of pallets
  • Gather invoice values
  • Input information onto spreadsheet once invoices are passed.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sanquhar, DG4 6RB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
