Job Title:
Night Receptionist

Responsible to:
Hotel Manager

1) To ensure 100% Guest Satisfaction, Honours recognition, excellent Guest Relations.

2) Have a 'Yes, with pleasure' attitude to all guests, colleagues, suppliers, management, and owners.

3) To 'own' a problem and follow it through to solution

4) Work according to the Brand Standards

5) To be fully conversant with the Reception duties and Night Audit

6) Perform end of shift banking, resolve any banking errors within the shift.

7) To be fully conversant with the bar and dinner service as part of Reception (HUB)

8) To set up the Breakfast and assist during Breakfast service

9) Setting up and clearing conference rooms if required. To have an understanding of our Conference product

10) TO ensure strict security measures are in operation and no unauthorised person has access to the hotel

To be fully conversant with the hotels PMS systems:
Emma, Micros, PDQ machines

12) To take Reservations and send confirmations.

13) To ensure kitchens have been closed for the night have been checked and no equipment is left on including deep fat fryer.

14) To deal with any guest issues, complaints, queries in a prompt and professional manner.

15) To report and ensure follow up of any maintenance issues and health and safety issues to the Operations Manager verbally and in writing by recording in the relevant logbook.

16) To have an understanding of Group Reservations, check in and room allocation

17) To attend internal and external Meetings when scheduled and required during daytime

18) To have an excellent command of spoken and written English.

19) To assist the Hotel Management in any occurring crisis.

20) To ensure that hotel is safe and secure at all times.

21) Vacuum clean the public area and conference rooms, empty rubbish in the relevant rubbish containers, check lobby and conference toilets and fill toilet paper, hand towels and empty rubbish if needed. General light cleaning duties.

22) To fully understand Health and Safety procedures and follow them at all times, understanding of fire panel and evacuation procedures at night.

23) To ensure Fire Procedures and checks re carried out and recorded in accordance with the company's policy

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
£10.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

  • Bath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
