Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust (RCHT) are embarking on an exciting, leading edge HR System Transformation Programme.

Through the re-engineering and maximisation of HR System functionality, RCHT have an ambitious two-year programme planned to transform HR Services and the Corporate experience by unlocking the full capability of our HR systems, and to make best use of these digital platforms.

This will improve the HR service user experience and will enhance the quality and accuracy of management information reports generated from HR related systems.


The post holder is responsible for ESR Data administration of work structures and positioning; inputting and updating key workforce information and producing relevant and accurate workforce information to support delivery of HR Systems Transformation Programme.

Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.

Work under regular supervision to independently complete key tasks and responsibilities.

Extensive use of common IT products & technologies for office productivity

Data input/data cleanse on/of ESR hierarchy and positioning.

Ensuring preparation for data alignment with other systems such as Eroster / Unit4 /Trac.

Gather, analyse, interpret and present extensive data information

Monitor quality and quantity of data information and implement data integrity

Organise and manage meetings as required, producing appropriate documentation to professional standards.

Display high levels of technical proficiency in your area of responsibility

Maintain documentation and systems within your area of responsibility

Collect, collate, analyse and produce workforce information

Carry out work in a manner that maintains and promotes quality

Interpret, appraise and synthesize data and information identifying consistency and inconsistency in outcomes, any limitation in the analysis

Role requires prolonged periods of concentration working at computer

Where appropriate ensure information is well evidenced

Delivery of reports to time and to a high standard
