We are looking for a Receptionist Supervisor to join our friendly team on the Breast unit at Southend Hospital. This role is on a permanent full-time basis.You will take responsibility for providing an effective and efficient reception service for The Breast Service.
Leading the reception team, including the administration of the partial booking service for the surgical specialities including radiological procedures and appointments.
To arrange all radiological procedures such as mammograms, ultrasounds, guidewires, stereo biopsies, Vacora biopsies and collating all the relevant x-ray films to support this.
To keep the Guidewire notice board up to date with the current and future procedures booked and ensuring that the Radiologists board is kept up to date with the duplicate information.
To book all private patient procedures, contacting the patients to inform them of their appointment, and collating all previous x-rays to support.
To ensure receipt of all relevant patient insurance details on arrival of patients and submit relevant forms to Finance Department with a copy to the Radiologist.
To make sure that the monthly salary returns are all completed correctly and on time.
To deal with any staff issues arising promptly and effectively.
To participate in recruitment and selection exercises as required.
