PRODUCTION OPERATOR

STOKE ON TRENT

FULL TIME PERMANENT (DAYS)

UP to £13 PER HOUR DOE

THE ROLE

  • Prepare and operate production machinery to manufacture required components in line with production schedules
  • Assembly duties using hands held tools
  • Inspect and measure finished product and compare with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
  • Mig and Spot welding duties (full training provided)
  • Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Assisting in other areas of production when required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience of working in a busy production or assembly environment is required
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience of Mig and/or spot welding and press brakes would be advantageous but not essential
