The International Trade Programme aims to support high growth London based companies to internationalise and enable aspiring exporters to prepare for internationalisation.

This programme will act as a single front door for companies who have global growth ambitions.


Purpose of role
Working closely with the Senior Trade Manager for Fintech & Enterprise and associated Trade Manager/s, to support the delivery and expansion of the programme which will include the following key responsibilities:

Key Tasks

  • Support the Senior Trade Manager and Trade Manager/s with account management of a portfolio of clients in the Fintech & Enterprise sectors, with a focus on the subsectors some of which include Fintech, Edtech, SAAS/Enterprise Software, HRTech, Crypto and Blockchain.
  • Prepare and coordinate paperwork for clients in relation to any client action plans and in compliance with guidelines working closely with the compliance team.
  • Coordinate Mentor sessions for clients in the Fintech & Enterprise sector services and technology portfolio working closely with the Senior Trade Manager to engage and liaise with the prorammes Mentors and ensure a consistent approach.
  • Create and develop a pipeline of potential leads and clients for your sector team.
  • Work closely with the Senior Trade Manager & Trade Manager/s to build a sector specific network to support the programme including potential clients, Mentors, Strategic Partners, Programme Partners and sector relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and attend sector relevant events to promote London & Partners and the programme and to build a pipeline of new companies onto the programme.
  • Work with the content team to share intelligence on barriers/actions from client's action plans to develop and deliver specific programme content to complement the core programme content.
  • Support the Senior Trade Manager with sector specific peertopeer programme content delivery including event administration support where necessary.
  • Maintain records, including data entry for client onboarding and offboarding sessions on our CRM.
  • Realise the benefits of a flexible approach to work in undertaking the duties and responsibilities of this job, and participating in multidisciplinary, crossdepartment and crossorganisational groups and project teams.

You'll have/bring

  • Experience of projectbased work.
  • Experience of working with SMEs and/ or startups.
  • Process driven.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building and developing a meaningful network.
  • Fintech & Enterprise sector experience or knowledge would be valuable.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of publicfunding would be an advantage.

The salary for this role has been approved as advertised in line with our pay structure. We will not negotiate or vary this figure upon offer or appointment.
