Our client is looking for a
Connections Coordinator to join the team on a hybrid basis in Daresbury and London offices.

As a Connections Coordinator within our telecom fibre industry team, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the installation and maintenance of fibre optic connections for our customers.
You will be responsible for managing the connections process from start to finish, ensuring efficient coordination between various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities as a Connections Coordinator:
- Wayleave and PIA Management: Facilitate the acquisition and management of wayleaves and permits for the installation of fibre optic infrastructure, ensuring compliance with local regulations and minimizing delays in project timelines.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies involved in the connections process. Coordinate with internal teams, such as engineering, operations, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for fibre optic connections, considering factors such as resource availability, site access, and customer requirements. Monitor progress and proactively address any issues or obstacles that may arise.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all fibre optic installations meet industry standards for quality and safety. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all connections activities, including permits, agreements, and project documentation. Generate reports on project status, key metrics, and performance indicators for management review.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the connections process, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping clients informed of progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the connections workflow. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance overall performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the telecom or fibre industry, ideally with a strong understanding of fibre optic networks and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with wayleave and PIA processes, including knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
