**Flexible Sports Instructors Wanted in Milton Keynes

Teaching Personnel are searching for Flexible Cover Supervisors who are happy to support with PE cover needs at Secondary Schools in and around Milton Keynes.

As a PE Cover Supervisor, you will be tasked with helping the schools with their day-to-day PEcover needs when the usual teacher(s) is unavailable.

You will cover a range of practical and classroom based lessons for pupils age 11 upwards.


An overview of the role:

  • Flexible working around your diary and school needs
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is
    notrequired for this position, however experience working with children would be beneficial
  • Experience working in a Sports/Coaching role will be required
- £80-£95 per day dependent on experience

  • Great opportunity to gain experience in multiple schools and often a fantastic way into a Secondary school career

What is a Cover Supervisor?


A Cover Supervisor is someone that takes control of the classroom (or sports field) and leads pre-planned lessons to pupils in that class when the usual teacher is unavailable.

As a Cover Supervisor, you get the excitement of teaching a range of topicsto a variety of year groups. The Cover Supervisor role is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to get experience in the classroom.


Am I suitable for this role?


As a Cover Supervisor you will be expected to take control of the classroom and confident to tackle any challenging behaviour.

You will be capable to lead a pre-planned lesson and ensure that children are continuing with their studies in the teachers absencein a safe environment.

You do not need to have Qualified Teacher Status however some experience working with children will be beneficial in this role.

An enthusiasm for learning and a resilience to challenging behaviour will be needed.


The ability to travel to other locations in the surrounding area is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
