Pension Administrator


In your role as a Pension Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the Account Executives in the day-today operation of the pension schemes we run.


You will not be required to advise people relating to their pension schemes but it will be necessary to have a combination of interpersonal skills and financial knowledge to perform the role effectively.

Your Functions Will Include

  • Handling some general scheme correspondence
  • Handling simple pension scheme investments
  • Handling simple pension scheme disinvestments
  • Issuing standard reminder letters
  • Preparing and issuing scheme anniversary packs and invoices
  • Performing some pension scheme administrative tasks which arise
  • Processing cash contributions and cash transfersin/out
  • Processing some pension scheme payments
  • Answering telephones
  • Liaising with banks, insurance companies and investment providers for investment registration, changing signatories, obtaining valuations etc.
  • Liaising with IFAs, accountants and other business introducers regarding their clients
  • Updating the back office systems with information and ensuring accuracy of all records and files
  • Following procedures where relevant and provided
  • Reporting any operational risks to the Directors
Your role will largely be administrative in nature and involve processing contributions, transfers and arranging simple pension scheme investments. In addition you will prepare annual statements and other pension scheme documentation
