An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly motivated and collaborative team at the NIHR Clinical Research Network's National Coordinating Centre (CRNCC), in our Imperial College-based office in London.

CRNCC provides the management and oversight function of the wider CRN on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and is a key and influential part of the wider NIHR, whose mission is to improve the health and wealth of the nation.

People are, of course, the most valuable asset for any organisation, and CRN National Specialties Administrator will provide high-quality, comprehensive support to a range of committees, steering groups, boards, working groups and their leadership effectively and proactively.

The CRN Cluster Office at Imperial College supports the following specialties:
Cardiovascular Disease; Diabetes; Gastroenterology; Hepatology, Metabolic and Endocrine disorders; Renal Disorders; Respiratory and Stroke.


Duties and responsibilities:


Essential requirements:


The role requires attention to detail, excellent skills with office software packages, and the ability to be self-motivated to work effectively as part of a team.

The ability to communicate with a wide range of people and good interpersonal skills are also essential.

Working as part of a busy team, the post holder should be able to organise and prioritise their own work, exercise initiative and meet multiple deadlines.

This is a Part Time, (14 hours a week) and Fixed Term post until 31st March 2024 based at the Royal Brompton Campus.


  • The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite. The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview._
