Mowbray Square Medical Centre is a purpose built site shared between East Parade Surgery, Park Parade Surgery and The Spa Surgery.

Together, the three practices form the Mowbray Square Primary Care Network (PCN) which is responsible for approximately 30,000 patients.

Each Practice have their own team of GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, Managers and Receptionists.

These are supported by well-organised and professional shared teams who provide services to all 3 practices within the Mowbray Square PCN.

You will be working within the shared Data Quality Team, being responsible to the Shared Teams Manager.

CLINICAL ADMINISTRATOR - Data Quality Team

18 hours a week, to be split over 3 days.

£11.42 an hour

We also offer membership of the NHS Pension Scheme and BUPA membership

References will be required.


Due to the nature of the role a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required by the successful applicant.

We are seeking to recruit a part-time Clinical Administrator to join our Data Quality team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, busy administrative support team in modern, purpose-built premises.


We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team and support our clinicians to deliver high quality patient focused care.

This role is office based and primarily not patient facing. Training will be given on all aspects of the role as required.


Job responsibilities within the Data Quality team:

Assigning Documents

  • Conduct required checks to ensure that each patient document received is processed correctly and assigned onto the correct patient's record resolving any queries arising.

Coding Documents

  • Process and code letters/documents accurately and comprehensively as per the agreed guidelines.
  • Assign to a clinician or file each document as appropriate in line with agreed policy.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contents of the clinical coding guidance and maintain knowledge by keeping up to date with changes that are issued.

Processing Incoming Data and Generating Outgoing Communications to Patients

  • Summarise medical records for new patients joining the practices.
  • Process incoming results for patients according to protocols.
  • Facilitate the provision of full online access for patients who have applied to view their medical record.
  • Generate mass patient communications (either electronically or postal)

EDUCATION /QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to GSCE level including Maths and English C/6 or above
