    Business Analyst (Framework Agreements)

    Key Role Information

    Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Framework Contract Team in SPD. The successful candidate will support the operations of LIVE framework agreements, monitoring all live frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead and drive performance improvement through analysis of outputs and feedback from internal and external sources.
    2. Support communication activities to facilitate service framework contracts delivery.
    3. Develop plans for service framework contracts to improve delivery and efficiency.
    4. Update reporting systems for cost, budget, financial forecasts, and performance data.
    5. Identify, resolve, and escalate contract issues as required.
    6. Manage contractual relationships for effective contract management.
    7. Evaluate framework agreements and allocate risk between Energy Networks and contractors.
    8. Represent Energy Networks at internal and external meetings.
    9. Take responsibility for personal development and involve the team in finding solutions to performance issues.

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge of service frameworks, procurement tender processes, and standard terms and conditions applicable to framework contracts.
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, negotiate to achieve the best outcome for SPEN, and devise solutions to complex problems/challenges.
    • Contract & SLA management, commercial & regulatory awareness, and analytical techniques.
    • A working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policies, and financial control procedures and systems.
