Good Rate of Pay / Good Bonus Scheme / Immediate start

Job Purpose:


We are currently looking for an experienced Installation/service engineer with a minimum of 12 months of experience working on a Telecommunications multimedia network.

Hours of work are 08:00 am to 17:00


Self-employed (Own Equipment and Vehicle) between £270 -£300 a day

Self-employed (No equipment) £170 -£200 a day

+

all teams will receive an agreed bonus monthly if targets are met

Key Experience:

proven track record working in a networking engineering environment.

Experience and qualified in installing Blow fiber networks and standard pull

Experience in installing Blown fiber tubing (Underground and overhead)

Fiber jointing/splicing

End to End testing of fiber networks (OTDR)

Advanced knowledge of FTTP technologies.

Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork,

Must be willing to travel.


This role would also suit someone who has worked as a Quality Engineer, Fibre Delivery Engineer, Installs Engineer or, Assurance Engineer.

Qualifications required:


  • SA001, SA002, S7,S8 or equivalent
  • IPAF 1b
  • Splicing and testing
  • EUSR Shea Telecoms or Equivalent
  • CSCS Preferred

Salary:
£170.00-£300.00 per day


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Experience:


  • Telecommunications Multimedia network: 1 year (preferred)
- installing Blown fibre network and Standard pull: 1 year (preferred)

  • Blown Fibre tubing Underround and overhead: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • SA001 SA002 S7 S008 (preferred)
