Safeguard SVP is now part of the prestigious Trek Group and due to exciting developments we are now looking to vastly expand our staff team.

We are experts in blue light vehicle conversions, our range includes cell units, dog units, PSU conversions, accident investigation vehicles, lights, siren and radio installation etc.


Due to exciting developments and new contracts of work, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our friendly team.


KEY ROLES AND DUTIES:


Assist with:

  • Logging and processing orders and quotes using Direct Sales Price and Order Guide
  • Advising customers on vehicle availability
  • Loading commissioning quotes onto the system
  • Processing Ford vehicle orders
  • Liaising with vehicle manufacturers
  • Monitoring and updating the status of vehicles
  • Monitoring progress of vehicles at SVP & updating delivery dates and customers accordingly
  • Processing weekly/monthly sales reports
  • Registering Ford vehicles through AFRL system
  • Processing civilian demo bookings
  • Processing V55s
  • Liaising with Ford dealers ref: dealer handling receipts
  • Following up expired commissioning quotes
  • Providing support for Ford Direct Sales Manager

This role requires:

- proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office
- strong time-management and organisational skills
- focus and flexibility towards tasks and responsibilities expected in the role
- effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver appropriate messages in a consistent and timely manner
- an understanding of ISO 9001 & QVM Quality processes


The job holder must be:

- well organised, motivated, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- enthusiastic and proactive
- willing to develop their computer skillset to include our in-house systems
- able to develop and demonstrate a good product knowledge after training
- able to develop and maintain a high level of Customer Service
- able to work as a team and individually
- flexible to accommodate the changing requirements of the company


The working hours are 40 per week : 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday with a 30 minute break and 7:00am - 1:00pm or 8:00am to 2:00pm on Friday.

Salary:
£22,000 per annum.
