The Growth Company's (GC) Employment team are looking for a Compliance Officer who will facilitate contractual compliance through methodical and procedural validation of evidence, systems and data relating to claims and performance submissions and to ensure risk is mitigated through adherence to programme guidance and rules.

Key Responsibilities:


  • To maintain paperwork and electronic records to ensure a high level of contract compliance.
  • Use bespoke electronic system(s) daily to audit all evidence relating to participant and employer data.
  • Ensure all paperwork is both present and in line with contractual requirements, KPIs and processes.
  • Undertake validation activity to ensure accuracy and standards are met.
  • Check and assure that evidence is compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements prior to submission to funding body and approve financial and performance claims.
  • Work within strict data security protocols and always ensuring adherence to GDPR and suggest remedial action for noncompliance.
  • Support with preparation and facilitation of various audits (internal / external / quality assurance).
  • Keep up to date with contractual requirements, commissioner guidelines and quality standards.
  • Support colleagues to understand programme compliance requirements and processes.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners as appropriate using various forms of communication.
  • Analysing data and identifying trends and anomalies.

About You:


  • Have worked in a compliance role or similar role with comparable duties and responsibilities.
  • Experience of working on publicly funded contracts within the Employment, Justice, or Education and Skills sectors.
  • Compliance and audit functions, risk assessments, administrative systems, and processes.
  • Confident in working in a high pressured environment and be comfortable working towards deadlines.

Skills Required:


  • Organisational and multitasking skills to effectively balance time and priorities.
  • Excellent IT skills, able to use Microsoft packages to a high standard.
  • The ability to accurately disseminate information in a clear concise manner.
  • A flexible approach to work including the willingness to travel where required.

Job Types:

Salary:
Up to £23,240.00 per year
