Description

Job Title - Grant Writer

Hours - 37 hours per week

Location - Glasgow City Centre

Contract - Permanent

Salary - £50,000 + performance related bonuses

Role and Responsibilities:

Identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
Stay informed about relevant funding trends, policies, and priorities.
Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to develop compelling grant proposals.
Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant narratives that effectively communicate the organisation's mission and goals.
Follow up on submitted proposals and provide additional information as requested by funders.
Monitor and track the progress of submitted grants on behalf of our valued clients. Prepare and submit grant reports to funders as required.
Collaborate with program managers, researchers, and other team members to gather information for proposals.
Ensure that all grant proposals and reports comply with the guidelines and requirements of funding organisations.
Build and maintain relationships with potential funders and grantmaking organisations.

About You:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as; English, Communications, Nonprofit Management etc.
Proven experience in grant writing, with a successful track record of securing funding.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong research skills to identify and pursue relevant grant opportunities.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
Familiarity with budgeting processes for grant proposals.
Understanding of nonprofit organisations and their funding mechanisms.
