Description

To coordinate a training needs analysis project over 12 months for Northumbria Healthcare and in partnership for Health Education England, which includes utilising project management techniques to develop systems and processes for gathering intelligence on staff training and development needs.

To gather intelligence about the system and process being utilised to ascertain training needs within Northumbria. Ensure the detail of this is presented in a format that can be shared across the ICS, including examples of format, timeframes for completion and who does this, cost of time for completion, cost of any particular system

To summarise the various stakeholder requirements for gathering training needs & the type of information required & why.


To identify current reporting options on training achievements in ESR and make recommendations for how to communicate with and support staff across a trust to data cleanse and input qualifications, measuring the change following implementation of the recommendations in Northumbria.


To agree with stakeholders a proposal for a more consistent, 'live' approach to training needs analysis that engages staff across the whole organisation on an ongoing basis.

To provide stakeholders with costings for the recommended proposals for a training needs analysis system and obtain agreement.


To ensure the provision and co-ordination of efficient and effective people development programmes, activities and projects to support the organisations strategy and aspirations.


To contribute to the formulation, agreement and delivery of HR and people development strategies by providing a high quality service for the organisation.


To ensure appropriate people development systems and processes are in place to support the organisation, regulatory requirements and development plans.


To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership by engaging, enabling and empowering others; using coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement; and facilitating team working and collaboration across organisational boundaries.


To deliver projects and strategies in order to provide a high-quality service and ensure the organisation meets a range of key performance indicators.

To contribute to the design and delivery of specialist projects and programmes linked to people development strategies and action plans

To support quality assurance and improvement by ensuring all data collected is accurate and supported on appropriate systems.

To provide information, advice and guidance to service users linked to People Development needs.
