Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team.

As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to learn, play, and develop essential skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize ageappropriate activities and play sessions for children
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during playtime
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and creativity
• Assist in the development of children's cognitive, physical, and emotional skills
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members
• Collaborate with the nursery team to create engaging learning experiences
• Provide leadership and guidance to support the smooth operation of daily activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment
• Follow all health and safety guidelines in accordance with childcare regulations Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to engage with children in a positive and nurturing manner
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential Note: All positions at our organization are paid, including internships.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£10.28-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week

• Driving Licence (preferred)
