Retail Sales Manager - Renewable Energy
Our client is a global independent power producer who generates renewable energy from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage projects.
Alongside originating and developing renewable energy projects, they also at as a global equipment distributor, providing solar PV products for C&I and EPC projects.
Since 2008, they have distributed more than 1 GW of solar PV technology.The business is partnering with retail companies to promote turnkey solar energy offers.
They can assist within different geographies and supports the customer's entire solar power journey, from project analysis to installation and maintenance.
They are now seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager who will be responsible for growing and maintaining a sales pipeline, alongside supporting internal EPC & Development teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement the Retail Sales Strategy, delivering results in line with sales & revenue targets.
- Ensure the client's distribution service is always accompanied by knowledge and services that add value for customers in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
- Prospect for new customers & grow an active and consistent sales pipeline.
- Ensure the growth and development of the business' retail offering across the UK.
- Work with technical support to deliver product launches for new customers; plan commercial launches.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with the business' client base.
- Work proactively to structure sales workflows and processes to support and maintain excellent customer service across the sales and logistics teams.
- Support and align with logistics to coordinate stock and replenishment to meet customer / market demand
- Support audit checks and work alongside the team to ensure the implementation of identified measures for improvement wherever needed.
Requirements:
- Retail sales experience (working with distributors, retailers, stores, eCommerce)
- Advanced IT skills; (Office 365/ PPT, CRM)
- Educated to university degree standard (Desirable)
- Expert negotiation ability with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changes and constraints in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to anticipate market changes and customer/ client needs.
- Critical thinking and strong problemsolving skills.
- Highly organised, with good timemanagement skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
