Scale 4, point 7 - £22,369 pro rata, per annum. Actual salary - £17,154 per annum

Hours: 32.5 hours per week over 5 days, term time only, fixed term to 31/08/2024

Your main responsibilities within this role will be:

Identifying clear learning objectives and determining how they will be supported and assessed.
Work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff/SENDCO and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
Accompany teaching staff and pupils on visits, trips and out of school activities as required and take responsibility for a group under the supervision of the teacher.
Help administer and supervise examinations when required.
Working to establish a supportive relationship with the children and parents concerned.
