The Role


This role is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract starting asap to support the Head of Operations for Women's Professional Game across a range of areas within Broadcast.


Key Accountabilities

  • To work with Head of Operations for women's professional game (WPG) on the successful recruitment and onboarding of the broadcast operations team for the BWSL/BWC.
  • To ensure relationships with broadcast partners remain strong with effective and collaborative relationship management at a senior level at this critical time.
  • To oversee the operationally delivery of the broadcast for season launch ensuring an effective transition from incumbent team to new team. Dependent on timings, there may be a requirement for operational implementation through the transition period from current team members to new team members
  • To be an escalation point for broadcast operations where required.
  • To support the Head of Media Rights on the WSL/WC rights tender where required.
  • To develop an understanding of current media and content strategy for BWSL and BWC as well as current production contracts, working with the leadership team on development of NewCo strategy.
  • Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.

  • We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
  • Your contract with The FA will specify a fixed location of either Wembley Stadium, St. George's Park or our Processing Centre, unless the role is advertised as a homebased contract. The contractual location of this role can be found at the top of this advert on our FA vacancy page.
