Job Summary:


The Scrum Master at aPriori is primarily responsible for ensuring the Agile maturity of our organization under the presumption that a more mature organization is more effective, efficient, healthy, and happy.

This role will bring continuous improvement and an agile mindset to their teams within the portfolio. This includes facilitating and driving the core ceremonies as well as longer term planning cycles. It includes guiding and coaching team members, product owners, and managers, while also identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
  • Help the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Lead the scrum team in selforganization
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
  • Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
  • Support the product owner and provide education where needed
  • Ensure the wellness of the team by monitoring and advocating for sustainable pace

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Indepth knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other methodologies with over two years' experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and consensus building skills
  • Requires ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline and at least two years working in a professional technology setting

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
