Head of Data (Digital)

I am looking for a heavyweight
Data Manager / Head of Data to work in a large, fast moving
Digital organisation.

This will be
a strategic role where you will own a
development roadmap and dependency plan to deliver the data strategy in collaboration with key partners (e.g., technology, marketing, data, legal, and product).

There is an emphasis of getting the maximum out of the
CRM systems.

From a technical standpoint you need to have a deep understanding of
Data Lake infrastructures, Data Warehouses, Analysis Platforms, CDP's, and Campaign Management / Recommendation Engine Tooling.

Experience in data management, including -
data governance, transformation,complex relational modelsand GDPR is also expected.

This is a typical
fast paced digital environment and experience of working as a
product owner / project manager (an
understanding of agile development principles and methodologies) is expected.

Ideally I want someone who has experience in the
Retail or Hospitality arena especially if you are looking for the top end of the salary.

Development is outsourced but you will have a small internal team as well.

Must have
excellent stakeholder management and used to presenting and influencing in a matrixed environment.

You will be expected to go into the
offices 1 / 2 days a week, ideally in
West Midlands but can take someone from London as long as they are happy to go to Birmingham 1 day a week.
