A huge part of our success is not only down to our dedicated Engineering Department, but the planning that goes into it We have an opportunity for an
Engineering Planner to come and play a pivotal role in the organisation, planning and coordination of the engineering activities at our site in Scunthorpe


About The Role


Within this role you'll take full ownership of the
planning and
coordination of the sites engineering activities, ensuring the efficient utilisation of resources and driving the productivity within the department.

This role will involve task planning for the team, collecting data for tasks completed and collaborating with various departments to drive optimisation across the site.


On a typical day, you will:

  • Develop and maintain a 7 day planning schedule
  • Take ownership of prioritising and allocating tasks to the team
  • Maintain the database for equipment, maintenance records and performance metrics
  • Analyse data collected to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Work closely with the production team to minimize line downtime

What will we need from you?

  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Previous planning experience in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to think on your feet and problem solve
  • A good understanding of planned maintenance scheduling
This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday core hours.

Although we can't guarantee that there won't be times where you may need to be outside of these core hours.
